Tantra is quite broad and can encompass various forms of yoga techniques and practices. I recommend that your first course of action after you have determined that you have some interest in tantra, is doing some study and/or research on Tantra services and educators in your specific area of interest, whether it be what some refer to as white, red, black or “pink” Tantra among other types. You may want to consider the professional practitioner’s philosophy and basic principles. You can do some reading as well. I recommend the books, Jewel in the Lotus by Saraswati and Bodhi Avinasha, American Tantra by Sienna Newcastle and Kundalini by Cyndi Dale for starters. In these books you will find some easy to understand concepts and exercises to cultivate and transmute your creative sexual energy as well as details about working with energy and your chakras.
